Got my first sightread AA on an 8 (TwinBee) and my 4th AA on a 9-footer (Dead End). Dead End was second try.

Tried Max 300 a couple more times...failed right before the 12th jacks one time, and the next time my legs gave out before I even got halfway through =(

ps MaxX Unlimited Standard (8) is harder than Sakura Heavy (10). I can see where FFR inherited its hideously inaccurate difficulty system, rofl.

If you want easy lol pass play it as your first song on a credit. The life bar is much more lenient. (like equivelant of l2 or something)

I know, I wouldn't really consider that a pass though, plus I could still fail and then I'd have wasted my 50 cents.

Basically what I've been doing is trying to play through all the 8's and 9's at least once each...I do it this way:

1st--new 8
2nd--old 8+ that I've A'd
3rd--new 9 or Max 300

That's worked pretty well so far.

ps is 3 CB's on V for Extreme Oni any decent for my level? Or should I be FC'ing that?

DDR is very fun and good exersise! But ITG has the extreme workout... it's like SM but on Dancepad

i beat vertex squared on hard, so i thought the other song would be just as easy...

wrong. >.<

and still cant pass driven for the life of me.

Update: Machine back, and I PASSED MAX 300 final stage woot. Got a B.

But it doesn't have Sakura or LoM anymore

So what should I go for next? Unlimited or Paranoia Survivor?

EDIT: It'll be Unlimited. Tried both, and the incredibly giga-AIDS ending of PS will kill me 100% of the time...Unlimited seems possible.

Oh and PSM isn't there

Why aren't you playing at a DDR:SN yet?

And ask your arcade operator to open the game menu for you...There're codes online to unlock the stuff in an instant.

Because the machine there is an Extreme.

I have no idea who the operator is, or even where to look to find him.

EDIT: I am going to the mall, and when i get there. LoM becomes an A(or better!)

1 boo on V Oni, it was on a retarded easy spot too.

Also...I heard that So Deep is supposed to be really hard for a 9...but I played it (I think, it was "Perfect Sphere Remix") and it wasn't hard at all, I A'd sightread with several goods and 1 miss, and there are 9's I can't pass (mostly stuff with obscene crossovers like A Oni).

Also, I nominate MaxX Unlimited Standard for the most mistakenly under-rated steps in the game. It's should be like a HARD 9 (I find it harder than Cartoon Heroes, which is also a hard 9), and it's listed as an 8 >< I mean come on, even LoM Standard is listed as a 9 and it's much easier (I AA'd it and have trouble A'ing Unlimited Standard).

EDIT: I use a lot of parentheses XD
