but i'm kinda excited for promises to be a different style of gameplay and to play with a group of people who don't know my play/meta very much so i can do whatever i feel like.

however I would say that questions like that are fairly typical from me, especially early in the game and to people i at least recognize (which i know of jrodd), so i can interact with them some and see their responses and gauge how natural/real they feel.

that kinda turned into a ramble'y post but i hope that answers your question
also, who tf are you

PREFERABLY WITH ENOUGH TIME BEFORE EoD ACTUALLY HITS

Like... say you're voting, but put it in twgv tags and then send it to Jeff over there.

Clap clap clap clap
agreed but keep in mind how ridiculously easy it is for people to lie about this

It gets more value as you add more white noise to it.

It has limited benefits because of the way that votes are revealed and the potential of liars (randomed and then revealed one by one), but the benefits are still there even if people lie. If every town remains honest, then any discrepancy in "votes" and outcomes can only come from a lying wolf. So yes, it's still something we should do.

Actually, the real problem about that is that votes are randomized at the end of the phase so, even if you have the right logic, you won't necessary have the right name attached to the right/wrong vote.

Wait- I feel like we're saying 2 different things here.

Can you still sample votes even if they get randomized ?

Because we are.

There are no names attached to the votes that will be revealed. The only thing randomized is the order in which they are revealed.

So there won't be a "right" or "wrong" name who voted someone. It's only the votes themselves that are announced.

The vote thing doesn't matter as much unless we get a complete final tally, which I strongly believe we should or the voting mechanism is just too wolf sided

Yea it's survivor obv there will be no names to the votes which sucks, but I think we should at least get a total number of voted each person had (unlike what they see while on the show as they read them off until insta then keep the remaining votes in the jar)

Either way, we need to consolidate because voting a random off wagon really hurts town in this setup
