Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
How was that a racial slur? I did'nt say anything bad about any race. Saying it's a game with american things to appeal to american people isnt a racial insult. Saying that the japs can play there games and we can play ours isn't a racial slur.

Note, it's not an abbreviation, it's a racial slur.

I've 5 starred Coyboys From Hell Expert.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
trogdor is
soooo good[/teengirlsquad] I just bought Guitar Hero II a couple hours ago. It has the two best ideas for extra songs ever. I'll post again tomorrow or sometime when I've gotten further in the game than ten songs in on hard, which is where I'm at now. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
I don't even own GH1. I went to my friend's house, beat Bark at the Moon expert, and said I was done with it.
Trogdor expert took me three tries to pass. The hardest part is not being able to get star power at all before the solo. It's possible, but it's really, really hard. I'm very bad at chord transfers. EDIT LIKE THREE HOURS LATER I passed Thunderhorse expert first try. That was a rush. 21/40 on hard mode. Hopefully I'll have time to beat it on hard tomorrow, and maybe start on expert. The bonus tracks are much better than those found in the original Guitar Hero. I just finished buying them all. Looking at the songlist, I pretty much have all of the good stuff left to unlock, as far as the main tracks go. Stone Temple Pilots, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold, and Suicidal Tendencies are big names I recognize and am looking forward to. Not to mention, I have yet to play Free Bird. Hah. Pull-offs are now not only functional, but actually useful. Awesome. Last edited by dAnceguy117; 11-12-2006 at 10:17 PM.. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Random losers being able to beat the entire game easily just shows how much GH sucks.
Music games are only worth playing if they're hard. GH apparently forgot about that. |

If this is where you drew your conclusion from, he was talking about Hard mode. After Hard mode is Expert mode, which is much more comparable to Standard and Heavy on DDR than it is to Heavy and Oni. |

Oh, I've also been playing pretty nonstop for the last three weeks. I'm sure if you play Pop'n'music or any other worthy rythm game you'd get good after a similar amount of time.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
i gto guitar hero 2 last thursday, its waay funner because you can play bass or rythym on multi or practice mode. multi is a lot funner on 2 than 1, but the 2nd song list was horrible.

HAHAHAHA
I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT 99S ON GF ARE EASIER THAN THE HARDEST SONGS ON GH Go play Timepiece Phase II or a Model DD song or The Least 100 Seconds and then get back to me. PS: It takes many people years to become good at IIDX, Pop'n, GF/DM (not so much DM), etc. I couldn't pass 12s until 3 or 4 months after I got IIDX, and I played for 5+ hours every day after I got it. |

I stand corrected, then.
That doesn't make me enjoy Guitar Hero any less, though.

I could be off on what I said. I finally picked up some decent hammer-on and pull-off skills today. I still think it could be close between passing 99s and passing the hardest songs on GHII with GF's health system if I got an equal amount of time to play both. Well, then again, it's taken me a long time to get to this point in GF. Whatever. Long story short, GH songs don't have the pushover charts you seem to think they do. I just passed Institutionalized Expert. I had to cheat like hell through it, though I basically nailed some tough spots. The cover is kinda bad, though. Meh. I guess it's not bad considering the song. |

I guess I'll have to play my trump card.
Guitar Hero isn't Japanese. Furthermore, it's a music game that isn't Japanese. Therefore, it sucks. QED. No one can refute that. I win. |
