Xiz, if you DO get this you will be a god among stepmen. (Isn't the current no to Dragonforce more because of animosity from the community than a statement from the band?) Edit: Wait, didn't Skrillex already say no?

Re: Denied Artist Permission Requests
Didn't Metallica acquire all their rights and make their own label? Nightwish in FFR would be orgasmic though, if any of that stuff can work out.

Re: Denied Artist Permission Requests
That would be neat. Is she even still alive? Her album was supposed to come out like last summer.

Re: Denied Artist Permission Requests
We could still have the songs Metallica released through that label, unless they really did buy the rights from the various labels they've worked with in the past 25 years or so. Damn Lars, and I thought your anti-Napster quest was scary.

Re: Denied Artist Permission Requests
Anyone able to contact Nauts? I've been unsuccessful in trying to find this company/individual online, and could use some help in figuring out if we have this company/individual's permission.
Thanks! |

Re: Denied Artist Permission Requests
Has anyone tried NOFX or Anti-Flag? They're both on an indie record label, Fat Wreck Chords.
Also, they seem open to the general idea of music sharing as seen by this: The label has never been a member of the Recording Industry Association of America as indicated on the frequently asked questions portion of the label's website: "Are we a member? Not only no, but F%^$ NO! We spent three years having our label's name (which was misspelled) removed from their members list. A year went by, then our name showed up again on their fucking list! Who are these sonsab!tches?! Needless to say, we're in the process of having our name removed again, but they aren't being too cooperative." Last edited by Coolgamer; 08-10-2014 at 05:42 PM.. |
