Curious, but would a rhythm game remixing a song from an actual non-rhythm game count or would that also be forbidden?

If the song originally appeared in a non-rhythm game, then yes. It better not be Bloody Tears (IIDX Edition) though or that vocaloid version of Mgical Sound Shower. Dx

http://tindeck.com/listen/pxfx

The Blues (The Reconstruction) - The Reconstruction Zero: I Miss the Sunrise (Deltree) [Oh hey, I guess I can continue with this...]
http://tindeck.com/listen/xtmn

March of the One-Legged Man - The Drop (Deltree) [Been looking for this folder for ages. welp]

I was personally thinking of GRADIUS 2012 as an example.

Review time.

Detrimentalist - Masquerade of Lies - I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the biggest fan of Falcon Sound Team music. It isn't my cup of tea, but this file is really well made. People who enjoy this type of music will see a good challenge from this file, and it's quite fun. Yes from me.
Coolboyrulez - SCARLET TEMPEST - At first I was like ugh...A retread of a song that had been previously stepped. When I played it though, I was like Damn! This is a pretty good file actually. It's really fun, and on point. Good job dude. Yes from me.
bmah - Splash Down - Really nice job on the layering, and it's RISTAR!!! Yes from me.
James May - Samekichi's Resolve - Shaping up to be one of my new favorite step artists haha. Every chart you've sent so far has been interesting in its' own way. That being said, this one was REALLY easy, but the song was cool and the chart matched it perfectly. Couldn't do any better than this. Yes from me.

LUNAXII - Tragic Princess - The chart wasn't terrible, but the song is. It just doesn't have a lot going for it. It's not catchy, and I forgot the song as quickly as I closed out of Stepmania to type this out. Keep on trying though! You show promise, and know what you're doing, it's just a matter of picking the right song. This one is a no however.

Tasted - American Cowboys - I would love to see some Command and Conquer action in the pack! However, this file is a bit too easy. The "Easy" chart is a bit unnecessary, as even novice KB players could pass the heavy chart. The heavy chart is also very easy as well. In order to take full advantage of the song, I would recommend taking full advantage of what the music has to offer with regard to the guitar riffs and beat. There is still plenty of room for opportunity on this file. I'm going to have to say No on this one.

Antronach - Mount Grauen 2 - The file isn't bad, but the music itself is a quite repetitive, leaving for an underwhelming and somewhat boring file. Will need to say no. You show promise as a step artist, you just need to revisit your choice in music for stepping. (Also, Junkie is spelled wrong in the artist name)

Yulanik - MAKAI Station - This is a fun, delightful little file full of different colored notes. It was short enough for me to not get bored with it, and everything rolled together nicely, but some of the patterns didn't fit with the song, and it was terribly off sync in sections. No, but may turn into a yes with some revisions.

Yulanik - Professor Sycamore's Theme - I like this song more than MAKAI Station, but I feel like there is something wrong with the sync, unless I just suck really bad at scoring for this song for some reason. After checking out the sync in the song at .25x rate, I see it's actually really poorly sync'd. In its current state, I'll have to say no.

Yulanik - Vitriolic A Stroke - No... It was extremely off-sync for me in some sections, and there was quite a bit of randomness going on with the patterns, and arrows going to sounds that weren't there. Will need some major revisions before acceptance.

Yulanic - Zetec - This one was close, but no cigar. It has that Yulanik "Off-Sync" syndrome, and there were also notes that didn't go to any sounds that I could hear. No

Yulanik - Todosengel - Will review later. I attempted to extract, but the file was corrupted.
Yulanik - My Delightful Spec - Will review later. Same as above. Strangely enough, I downloaded both of these on my work laptop and they extracted fine...

@Alioth: If you're interested, I'm working on Fantastic Theater and am planning on stepping Baile la Battala and G. Hit me up if you wanna collab on any of those songs.

@Tsuka: It was one of my "I had to step it" songs, but after a week, it did seem a bit weird. Guess I just wanted a chill song. Also fuck my spelling D:

As for my wips, aside from what I put above, I have a jazz arrangement of Beginning from SOTN, Crazy Robo from Sonic Adventure, a dance remix from Sonic Advance 3 and Strobe Action from Space Channel 5.

Sweet \o/ Though I am fixing Samekichi's Resolve a bit and I found the correct author name of the song (*CAMeLIA* is the author of the song, not Mogeko oops...)
