I decayed to Silver 4 and got matched up with some baddies. I got my pick before their top laner, and they chose Kassadin. Cause Kassadin is obviously superior to Nasus. I had 477 Q stacks at 24 minutes since all Kass did was fire his orb off and occasionally use his slow. Only died to him once because I was taking second top tower with Xin tapping me with his spear the whole time, then when I destroyed it and ran away Kass was there to kill me. Other death was from tping into the middle of a lost fight and getting 2 kills before dying. End of the match, 4 of my team went onto 1 guy and killed him while I went onto 4 of their team and got a triple.

Kass and I didn't have any kills or assists by 20 minutes. It was only once the laning phase was over that he got kills. But yeah, mid and bot did get wrecked. I was a bit worried that with a full AD team against a Taric, he'd just stack armor and teamfights would be in their favor, but all he has is the sightstone and a bunch of GP10.

The worst part was that he nearly went afk while we had twice the kills because Noc took blue instead of giving it to him.

Kass into Nasus lets both get what they want for free, Kass gets levels without being harassed and Nasus gets stacks

Only problem is Kass can't roam nicely from top, but it's not like it's a terrible choice. Kass coulda run teleport and made da big plays

You're obviously not going to be laning Kass vs Nasus very long, it's just a free zero-pressure lane to get levels in then wreck the rest of the map with roaming.

btw Nasus's E and R stack Kassadin's passive, it's not entirely accurate to say Kass's passive is useless in that lane just because Nasus doesn't build AP

I need to learn good times to roam before I can be great at top. The last game was easy for me since the other two lanes decimated the enemy team. I played another game and their Fizz and Vayne both got fed to hell and I couldn't do much about it since I was laned against a Jax and in the time I'd go down to help, he'd already be at the tower pushing it down. When the laning phase ended, Jax was 0/1. When the game ended, he was 8/2. It didn't help that whenever a teamfight went down, at least one person wasn't there.

The comment about the passive wasn't directed at you at all. I was addressing the screenshot itself, someone said "0 AP to build passive off" and I was pointing out Kass's passive is based on the type of damage being dealt and not on what his enemies build. Some people might not know that, and it's worth mentioning.

Also I was asking a question not stating it like I know everything. Typically a question mark indicates someone is asking a question, imagine that.
I haven't played Nasus vs. someone like Kat or Kass toplane so I didn't know how easy it is for him to bully a weak early laner without sacrificing stacks, hence asking if he can actually get through all the sustain Kassadins usually take. I agree Kassadin is really susceptible to ganks with the long lane, never said otherwise. If you think Nasus is able to bully Kassadin and get stacks easily then hey, I learned something. Didn't know Nasus was that strong pre-6.
The original comment was basically stating that if you can never count a Kassadin totally out of the game just because of how stupidly good his roaming and pick potential is even when behind- you can obviously see that from the screenshot, even though Kass apparently was owned in lane he still went positive by the end of the game and had strong items and relevant farm.
