![]() The problem occurs in a lot of piano submissions too. If a piano player splits a chord, it's stepped as something ridiculous like 192nds which can only be distinguished on something like 0.3x rate.

I also have never tried his on Xmod, I should do that. I've played the SM version, but I never saw an Xmod symbol, so I assumed he did that to just color it neatly. I'll have to play it that way sometime. As to Robotomy, I don't understand the hate you get. I actually kind of enjoy the file. |

because it's stepped in a really polarizing way and it's a lot more leftfield than vortex (which seems to be hit or miss enough as it is)

![]() Chipscape was fun. I like how mi40 (anaru, OHN, what do i call you) handles bursts by effectively stepping them just as multicolored hands. It's fun.
Patterns were somewhat predictable but appropriate and had nice flow.

![]() Everything I say is in a way subjective because I only look at the file and not play it.
--- I thought Down with the Sickness was an index file, but I was treated with doublesteps ![]() Good file though, interesting for people starting the game. The bursts (or whatever the term is for them) in Chipscape are a bit weird. - 3 noises = hands - 1 noise = quad - except the first single noise in the cooldown which is a hand - whereas the subsequent single noise is a quad again - there is one set of 3 noises where the last one is higher pitched, while the arrows stay the same N's Farewell has a bit of weird jump usage (and non-jump usage at times), but p gud. Do I remember Witchcraft from DF? Somehow I remember it being more jacky. Fun file.

Nope, different file. I didn't even realize there was a Witchcraft on DF (never really used the engine). |

![]() Witchcraft was great. Layering made sense, patterns were mostly okay. Some weird 1-handed anchors such as 111(12) which could have been better. Also the 32nd pattern at the end was a bit troll (try to put fast trills on two hands or else people rage :P) but yeah
good file enjoyed it a lot props for having the note colors make sense despite the weird time signatures EDIT- Reminds me of Blade from SM

I mean the 32nds at the end are the only thing I really dislike about the chart. It is not bad by any means, but Rebound's is simply the one I prefer. I do see myself playing this again even after I AAA it. I mean Rebound's has it's down side to, which is the dang quads at the end, I was glad you chose not to use them. |

![]() Oh okay, sounded like you just didn't hear 32nds at all. XD Fair enough, like hi19 said it's on the trolly side of things but I didn't think it would matter so much when the trill only last 5 notes.

I missed the last note of that trill on my first play. No FC for me. Fun file though.

![]() By the way, N's Farewell should be in Arcade as it's a remix / remaster of the original track from Black and White.

![]() Whether to put remixes of video game songs in the genre of music they are (dance, classical, etc) or into arcade is completely arbitrary and something that has needed fixing since literally day one of FFR.
I don't really expect anyone to care, where they wind up seems to be where they stay.

![]() I've only tried Chipscape and Witchcraft so far. Witchcraft is fun as hell, so I'm going to be playing that a lot. Chipscape is a bit too hard so not nearly as fun for me. Maybe if I play it a bit more...
