Here's one by Vladimir Horowitz:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seC8oc_1rYQ I was digging around for it for a good while. He's passed on, so since he's the performer and also dead, does that mean we can use it? Logic... :monkey:

Re: Revolutionary Etude v2
I thought that music was still protected after dead for a certain amount of time, but maybe I'm wrong for this situation.

Re: Revolutionary Etude v2
I think it's 50 years after death that the copyright still remains. I think.... I .... think ...

Re: Revolutionary Etude v2
I talked with jimerax about this last night, and there is a period that you must wait. However, some music in FFR has "bypassed this" as was previously mentioned in this thread. We haven't done that since Tass' era though.

Re: Revolutionary Etude v2
I sent a file to somebody who apparently had sync already working.
Nothing has come of it as far as I know lol, if anyone else has a good MP3 and feels like syncing some decent steps made by yours truly just let me know I really kinda can't be bothered >_< maybe someday I'll do it as an exercise on how to use DDReam better lol

Re: Revolutionary Etude v2
Sorry, that's just because I never notified you that I was done. I meant to send the file back to you, but I often think about something once and forget to go back to it (also a reason why I don't respond to PMs often...)
I've had my file done for at least a month now, and I'll definitely be sending it to the next batch. I had already had most everything before the soft part at the end already stepped, and looking at your file helped with the rest of the syncing and stuff, but I didn't use your steps. Here are the BPMs from the .sm file for the performance that's in-game, with the first note of the music on the first beat. You can use this to play your file to it. Sorry again for being unresponsive, eheh. |

Re: Revolutionary Etude v2
Oh cool. Nice to hear it's finished, gotta get all those bad blue note files some good V2s
If you didn't use my steps I might use your BPMs and send my steps to the DF tourney for them to use, at least if you don't mind. p.s. I sent you a PM about more files a long time ago and you never responded to it either roffle p.p.s. jesus christ that's a lot of bpm changes, I salute your syncing work good sir
