A question on videos...

I recently downloaded a video for a simfile but it doesn't seem to work, I've used videos in my simfiles before and they've seemed to work. However, the video I just downloaded is an MP4 not an AVI. Doesn't Stepmania support MP4 files or is there something wrong?

I'm pretty sure Stepmania only supports .AVI files, because I also tried .wmv files and it didn't work.
