crossed arrow format

i clicked on the crossed arrow format button and tried to play but when i pressed a button it would just say boo or miss. i put the key config back to left-up-down-right and tried pressing only the left button for the song. when the song loaded, i pressed the left arrow but it wouldnt say perf or good or average. each arrow that came up, i pressed the left button and it would only say boo and miss. i tried the same thing with up and down and right button and the same thing happened. wats wrong?

It doesn't work with speedmods, there's some odd problem with it that I still don't really understand, it works fine with 1x speed though.
Here's how the receptors are setup:

EDIT: it still doesnt work. im playing it on 1.0x speed and set it up but the same problem still occurs.

EDIT2: i tried pressing the scrolling arrows with my mouse but it still doesnt work.

Damn, you're right. It's doing what it did when trying to use speedmods, except no matter what now. I played split 2 weeks ago and it worked just fine, so this is news to me. Sadly, I doubt this will ever be fixed =/

do you remember my pseudo skill token requirement? pass death piano on split. thats when i started to use split mode more often.

I think if you search the forums a bit you can figure out how to play older versions of FFR which will allow you to play split.
