Alright, with a general lack of anything really seeming to go on (at least on my side) and a few questionable comments, I'm going to have to give my vote to u84.

The first part. Lito pointed out to me that nowhere does it say that thieving takes effect the next day. I know thieving takes effect the next day because I'm Tair, but u84 would not be privy to this information without either having been told by me or the wolf thief, or in the event he is the wolf thief.

Oh, I nearly forgot. I'm going to need a replacement for travman. I'll have day end at normal time, but won't continue the game until I can find a replacement.

Woah, calm down. I just thoroughly read the OP's. I would assume that thieving's would be listed as real-time if they were. That's why I asked. Secondly, I remember being told by some vet in one of my first games that lonewolves and wolves were united after they both tried to wolf the same person. This is why in my last mystery game I thought I was mixing it up from the norm by making the wolves discover each other only when they wolved a fellow wolf. Honestly, if this is all you have to go on, it's pretty dumb stuff to try and lynch someone for. But, hey, better than a KitB situation, I guess.

The first day is uneventful for the team. Of course, there is discussion about the grave situation that has fallen upon them, but nobody knows anything or has any ideas, so nothing really happens. The only event of note is when they come across a pond and fight off an attack by Chimera-infected ducks.

Back at the guard house, the sun is setting, and due to the lack of information the company has considerable trouble deciding who to send off.

"Why vote for the Commander?" Lia asks Exer.

"You heard what he said. It could be anyone, even him. Besides, is there anything to go off of?"

"But the Commander is the one who keeps everything running!" exclaims Mavin.

"Uh, I think he would be smart enough to appoint someone else if he were voted off," says Lain.

"Yeah, but if he really is a Chimera, he'll appoint one of his buddies, and they'll mislead us," adds Visark.

"Now, see here..." Mezera joins the discussion.

"Who are you voting for?"

"Is it any of your damn business?"

"Hey, what's your problem..."

So begins a volley of shallow arguments, ideas, and general bickering that leaves them not very far from where they started.

"Okay, guys," says Vee as the din settles. "I think I've got something. I cast my vote on Commander Mezera. It's not really much, but he seems a lot more interested in the Chimera than anyone else, that's for sure."

"Haven't you heard of threat assessment?" replies Mezera.

"Yes, but you also seem to want everyone to trust you. You are our commander, but we're capable of handling ourselves."

"You also went straight to the defensive side every time someone even hinted at the possibility of you being one of the infiltrators." says Exer. "I know the innocent need to defend themselves, but you just stood out."

"We know it isn't very smart, and it isn't even close to a majority vote, but it's all we've got. We have to get somebody."

The Commander stays silent for a long while. "Fine. So be it. You have made your choice. Visark, I appoint you as new commander. Everyone else, I wish you good luck."

Keevan and Axl escort the commander to the secure elevator leading to the prison. As he steps in, they lock the door from the outside and send the former commander on his way.

They rejoin the rest of Mobius squad. Bored out of their minds, the soldiers do various silly things until they go to bed.

Day 1 has ended, and u84 has been lynched.
