![]() Mayne a new forum could be "current events" in Life & The Arts. This forum would be used to discuss events happening around the word. From small-town news to international information, this forum could be interesting to everyone.

I would say that an event is NEVER grounds for a CT thread, although it can spark a topic. Example: you wouldn't make a CT thread about the Spitzer prostitution scandal, but the topic could spark a discussion on things such as the nature of our politicians to be hypocritical and the effect that this has on society.
