I hate people are like "omg I'm stronger than you" when their range is like 500-3,000 and your range is 2,300-2,700, for example. And then they try to prove it with "look how much I just hit!!" It's just like...argh!

You do gotta admit that it's been a while though. I'll probably be on later tonight, so I can re-add you. If not, I'm sure at least one master will be on and if not, odds are there would be no one for you to talk to in the guild anyway.

Archers have crap stability.

We'll always lose in terms of damage per minute.

Once you get strafe though, it gets a bit better.

You don't understand. Just because you can hit high SOMETIMES doesn't make you stable and effective when fighting. Big numbers aren't everything.

Trust me, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to archers. Nothing about 4th job and the end of 3rd job but I started this game way before most (a month or so after beta?) I don't mean to sound ****y but yeah.. archers aren't the best class in terms of stability. In fact, they are one of the worst.

Server Checks ARE implementations of things already included in patches. It's just basically enabling them, then making sure they work.

It has been this way from the veeeeery beginning.

The only things they activate in server checks are new cash shop items. For new content, they add only during patches.

Also, they do server checks every week. Patches are about once a month and can generally be predicted by event ending dates. The most recent event ended like last Thursday or something, so presumably there would be a patch today. Now we'll have to wait until mid June... and I have a terrible feeling that it's going to be a recycled Independence Day event along with something ****ty that no one even wants.

They're going to get 50% or more of their top players to quit over this ****. If I was ~110 or more like thousands of people already are, I'd probably stop playing too.

Seriously though, they're pissing off the top players. They've had nothing worthwhile for around 10 months now, and seeing MSEA get a lot of things we want then turning around and getting multiple things we had in a single patch... it just really seems as though they're actively trying to make people mad.

also they'll probably disable maple item drops, because changing drops is something that they have proven to be able to do via server check

But they can't get rid of the cakes until the next patch, because monster spawn points are client side.

Ok yeah, I just ran the numbers and it appears as though overall an archer's absolute minimum is 30% of their absolute maximum.

This is the same mastery that cleric's Heal has. Amazing, no?

It's free to play but there's this cash shop where you can buy clothing and other items with real money. Generally these items don't have any effect on actual gameplay, but there are a few that give a slight edge to cash shop users.

Basically, you can play without paying a cent, but you get a little more out of the game if you pay.
