Vets game
Hey guys. I was talking to aperson yesterday, and we think it'd be neat if we tried to get in touch with as many of the vets as possible and organized an old-timer TWG. We wouldn't want to undermine the first come first serve rule of course, but we should try to make it a sure thing. I miss this game with a passion.

If you miss this game with a passion, sign up for the next one >_>
Sure getting the people you played with back would make it better (possibly) but you can still play if they don't, right? |

Re: Vets game
I'd come back if we could round up all the old-timers with skill. I'd love to see ap play again, definitely Tass. Alain was really good too.

Re: Vets game
How long do you think before the rediculous game they've got going now is over?
So what will the rules of this one be? We'll have to go fairly classic with the roles. Maybe 3 blues. We also need an awsome host. Chardish had the best stories but I want him to play too. |

Re: Vets game
I'll host. The only reason I'm any good now is because almost all the people that actually WERE good left so I wouldn't mind sitting it out. >_>

Re: Vets game
Also I see no reason why it can't be run "on the side", as it were.

Re: Vets game
I might, but I've been so busy lately I don't think I'd put the effort in to make it worthwhile. As some of you may know (and people keep IMing you, so it seems some of you are just finding out), I'm getting married this Saturday, then I have honeymooning to do and then I will want to relax for like 8 years to make up for all the wedding planning and crap that's been going on for I don't even know how long. Sorry guys, maybe another time. =(

Didn't Guido and Stretchy used to play?
PS. I'll make sure Tps sees this. |

Re: Vets game
Well hell, as long as we're dredging people up, a thousand internets to the person who can convince one of Q, Squeek or Moogy to play.

Re: Vets game
Q yes. Squeek got tired of it, IIRC.
Moogy was all "lol rules" and posted at night and stuff. |

Sweet. I THINK I'm a vet. I'll try to get Hansypoo to actually be active and sign up.

Re: Vets game
I quit playing for a while since I don't have near as much free time these days, but I'd love to play again.

Re: Vets game
Squeek quit because the game went against his morals, he didn't like lying and deceiving people, even in game.
Q quit because he couldn't ride the coattails of Tass anymore Guido and Stretchy used to play, then a rule was made, and then it went to Guido or Stretchy, and then none at all. Whorli used to play every once in a while, but she stopped too. LD used to play a lot, and actually care about it (looking at the game where he got the 2 game ban), but I don't know if he'd play again. Personally, I haven't played in a few months. I feel if I played now though, it wouldn't be the half annoying half hoping his plan works TPS. It'd probably be more laid back, input when necessary TPS, which doesn't sound nearly half as fun. I can't think of too many others who played way back when, Qreepy, ImEric12. |
