Be able to compete with others online and maybe also have ratings so you know if someone is at the same level as you.

Yes but you see... if we had ratings then people would be rated. Get what I'm saying?

It might not be possible for Remix but I have an idea to pitch to Synth to see if it is possible.

Freak 83: I don't think that ratings would be bad, because, for example: Wins vs. Ties vs. Losses. Like in football and stuff. Besides, if somebody sucks and they think that they dont, and get all deflated, they either have ego problems or need another, better, life
. Or I misunderstood you. Whatever. If people don't want to be rated, they would not participate. Or if there is a giant public uprising against me for saying that, then no ratings. What the hell. I should almost undoubtedly delete this. Also, Freak83, if you got through that (I know you hate blocks of text), I have pride in you. ![]()

I don't think V's mode is possible simply because of the lag factor. It would certainly not be possible to have synced games for two reasons; firstly because of the lag and also because most users computers couldn't handle rendering two sets of arrows on screen.
If you guys have any other suggestions to achieve a online V's mode then sing out. Cheers... bprc |

The only way I could think of doing it is I know some online games have the feature where you enter to play the game, you play the game and then you have to wait until the group of players is finished playing. When everyone is finished playing the scores are compared and the winner is decided. If there is maybe someway to set it up in a similar fashion so the player do not necessarily have to play at the same time and both player's stepcharts and display are not on the same screen. That's seriously the only way I could think of making that possible.

1. Congratulate me for reading all of that.
2. Teach me how to spell congratulate 3. You could make it an option to see the other persons arrows, the quality button is also there for a reason. Maybe you could both play at the same time and only see your own set of arrows? But both players scores are visible? |

Ohh yeah...dont know why I didnt think of this.. Me and my friends already do a sort of Vs mode, we sign on msn and we got to FFR and then I will pick a song and we start at the same time (roughly) then we report our performance. Then he picks one and we repeat.

Maybe there should be a way to sign into the chat room and start at the near same time as other people, then it reports your scores to each other.
