Interesting Things That Happened While Playing DDR / ITG.

There are many interesting things that I have seen and experienced while playing ITG at Action Arcade (Big List):
1. A fight broke out between an Asian kid and a while kid having to do with the game "Counter-Strike" . They were shouting at each other and I was in between songs and then out of nowhere the Asian kid ( who has bigger than the white kid ) punched him in the face and made him fall to the floor. A fight then broke out between some of the bystanders/posse of each person (some helping the asian guy and some helping the white guy) and the cops were called but I was allowed to leave.
2. I was doing an 11 difficulty song and I always put my quarters on the side ledge of the machine. While I was doing this song, a little asian girl went up to my bucket of quarters stuck her hand in it and grabbed some and walked away. I was like wtf but i didnt want to lose my song and at the same time i made sure she didnt leave. She grabbed a total of 6 - 8 quarters that I got back from her and her parents apologized on her behalf (they were not even watching her but they were sitting at the comps playing CS or wtevr).
3. I was in the middle of a song and somebody stepped in front of the ITG machine (for laughs) for about 5 seconds but luckily I could still see the arrows and I ended up passing. The person left before I could cuss him out.
4. Some crack head one time purposely pulled the plug to the ITG machine while i was playing because he said it was making him deaf. This person was an older male. I was refunded however.
5. This asian girl (about my age) was watching me while I was plying for about 10 minutes. I thought nothing of it at first and I thought she was just admiring my skill but Suddenly she ended up bursting into tears for no apparent reason and she ended up running out of the arcade.
6. I was sweating like crazy one time after doing about 4 songs on 12 difficulty and a good samaritan gave me a powerade for free and told me that I rocked .
7. I saw a guy from the corner of my eye playing Marvel Vs Capcom 2 while I was in between songs. HE got pissed off because he wasnt doing well in the game because the joystick was jammed and he ended up ripping off the joy stick thingie in an attempt to fix it.
8. I was getting ready to play on the ITG pad ( I had just walked into the arcade) only to find a large pool of blood on the pad!

1. My friend sat behind me while I was playing, resting his back against the bar. In the middle of a song, during a series of jumps, he grabbed my feet and pulled back while I tried to jump foward, causing me to slam my face into the screen. I failed.
2. I had a little kid jump around on my pad while I was in the middle of a song. At least six people witnessed me accidentally stomp on his foot. None of them were Bemani players, so they assumed that I did it on purpose, and was subsequently slapped by the kid's mom.
3. After finishing a nonstop course, while putting in my tokens for another play, another player I've seen on occasion asked me what song I couldn't pass. I said, "On DDR, I can pass anything." He then made me play PS, Maxx Unlimited, and Max 300. On the extra stage, he said to play LOM. I told him, "No, I'm tired," and started to pick something else. He then called me a prick and threw his water bottle at my head.
4. I didn't get mad during any of these incidents.

1. While playing Max 300, a girl jumped in the middle of the pad and just started dancing like an idiot. I told her to get the hell off, but she said she wasn't going to bother me (a little too late, isn't it?). When I almost finished the song (I never passed it before... leave me alone...) she tripped on her own feet and slammed into me. I kicked her off of me, and was then kicked out the arcade for being "to rough with the customers."
2. You know how some people don't understand these games, right? (The people who always laugh at you even when you're doing great) Well, they emptied a bottle of water on me in the middle of a song. I made it look like I was going to free style in a way by swinging around the bars. While I did so, I landed a good kick in the stomach of that person.
3. I got three free games with another person because he didn't want to play by himself. How can I turn down a free game?

1. I found a wallet full of money that someone had dropped or left under ITG Pad. Turned out there was about $30 or so and so i gave it to the manager and she said she would try to find the owner or give it back to me. I havent seen the wallet since.
2. I've been laughed at for no apparent reason and imitated for no apparent reason. Those people wish they had my skill.
3. I saw a guy watching hardcore porno on one of the computers and everyone was looking at his comp from a distance and were all like wtf.

1.I am not that good at DDR, so after 3 attempts to pass Max 300 in a row, I finally passed on the 3rd try, my first time passing it, afterwards I could barely walk and I couldnt feel my legs. My endurance is terrible.

2. There is this one guy that go's to the arcade at least twice a week, according to him, and I see him everywhere. My school played against his in a basketball game, he was on the team, he was at the same showing of Xmen 3 I went to, I have seen him at the pool, and I have seen him at the mall, and then I have also seen him at all three of the movie theaters in Lynchburg.

While playing doubles, my best friend joined in to make it a co-op game. Next thing you know, he keeps slapping panels and misses.

Oh, and I also did Kick the Can (Double, Another) and fell off. This one girl (who rules at all the Bemani games in the MWR Arcade) laughed, and she showed me her stuff, but this time, she was on SSR.

Where I used play people were mainly morons, and they'd gladly push you off of the machine. Well, anyway one day I was playing DDR Extreme and was doing A on Heavy, my first stage. These people come running up stairs push me off of the machine and start jumping up and down on it. I can't really defend myself (I'm 5'2,100lbs.) so I just went and tried to tell the manager except nobody wanted to help. Last time I ever played there.

I agree. That happened to me. And some skater said this right under the security camera at my old arcade on base.

1. Today, I was warming up on DDR and I was playing Butterfly. This kid comes up to me and he's like you're good...Can I have some tokens. I'm just jumping around cause I warm up on 3 steps. I say no and he asks please. This kid was one of those puppy dog bastards. He asks me about 5 more times before I make it look I'm doing a freestyle move but I'm really kicking my foot about 3 inches away from his face.
2. One time, I was playing my last credit on ITG, and in come these pretty attractive girls. I'm playing at the best of my ability on Little Kitty Mine but I can still hear them saying "C'mon we should get his number". And the other girl was like "NO, I'm too shy". I was smiling like a Jackyl and I was tempted to play with my back to the screen and start to flirt with them but I don't know the arrow sequence by heart.

.... When I first bought it I got really tired? Lol I've never palyed at an arcade 'cause we have none around here and onyl area with DDR machines I go there once a year 'cause it is an amusement park... now that I play DDR I'm whoring the game when I get there

Same, in lacrosse. That is the reason I got contacts.. Glasses would fog and stain. So now my sweat rolls right into my eye and blinds me and every game I get literally 10-15 tastes of sweat :\

1. My friend after passing breakdown for the first time (standard) went straight to burning heat on heavy. He failed.

2. Saw a guy try to pick up a girl by playing DDR.. badly.

3. I Challenged the manager of the arcade to the game because she kept staring at my friends and I when we where playing.

1.) While playing Driven on Double, I got an extremely enthusiastic audience. I was on Monolith actually, when the pad had started to fritz out and I failed.

I got like, 24 quarters, because they wanted to see it again.

2.) A Bunch of college kids saw me playing Bend Your Mind Hard, I failed halfway into it, they had saw that I can play hands, and decided to give a trade, my knowledge of playing w/ hands, for their flatfooting style.

When do you swap talents now-a-days?

1.) I was playing DDR once, this 30 - 35 year old man comes with behind with his friends and says "ddr sucks" I was like "wtf is your problem" cause luckely I just fininshed the song when he was playing, man he's real mature, he wished he had my skill.

2.) Playing DDR and this girl that looks like shes in grd 9 or something trys to hit on me, rumor has it shes sucked everyones dick there and she's ugly as hell =(.

3.) Someone unplugging the machine accidently during a song I was playing, Got my tokens back but still, the plug literally falls out.

Going to the arcade again today, my happenenings suck though=/ But maybe something stupid will happen today xD.

Aw man nothin ever good happens to me.
1. I was playing max 300 when this guy and his friends ram into me. I was like WTF!?!?!. They were there laughing so hard, and i was about to lose. I went and knocked them down and slapped the last arrow with my hand. I was 6 at the time.

O Yeah the pool of blood i mentioned earlier wasnt really a pool. it was more of a stream of blood on the pad. Some guy that was playing while it was REALLY hot inside the arcade just got a random bloody nose while in the middle of a song and it bled on the pad. He went to was it up and thats when I came in and was like WTF zomg.
