Got my first impossible on necronomicon, woo. I thought it would have felt more fulfilling, but that badge really should have been an endurance hard rather than impossible. It's very possible.
Don't have the patience for battalion hard, but maybe one day.

Gotta like how the achilles engine was added to warlords, I'm really gonna enjoy getting 13 gladiator kills, best so far is 6. I haven't been able to get past the boss swordsman (moves in closer while blocking, he'll out-damage you if you just swing at him, can't move directly on top of him). My guess is that I'm going to have to use some sort of attack-retreating attack-attack strat to stay out of range. I'll experiment with that later though. Got it down to 132
I am now officially untied, and I now have the best score on this game out of anyone out there, anywhere, mwahahahahaha.
I freaking LOVE this sort of game. I might go back and optimize some Maze Stopper 2 scores. For now though the Loops of Zen is occupying my game whoring time until/if someone beats 132 on light-Bot.
For anyone who wants to try their luck, this is my current move-utilization distribution:
Level 1: 3
Level 2: 9
Level 3: 9
Level 4: 10
Level 5: 9
Level 6: 14
Level 7: 9
Level 8: 10
Level 9: 9
Level 10: 17
Level 11: 17
Level 12: 16

I use recursion a lot, by the way. If you can solve a level with a short, repeating function, you can save a lot of moves.
For many levels I just have a simple F1 in the Main Module (levels 5, 7, 9, 10, and 11), where F1 does the primary loading and repeats itself at the end, using F2 if needed (or I repeat things through the F2 module, it depends).Last edited by MrRubix; 09-19-2008, 01:20 AM.Comment

Warlords: Heroes isn't auto-saving for me so I'll have to repeat episode 3 for a third time if I want another whack at the impossible badge.

Well, I got the impossible badge for Warlords so I'm back down to one solitary row of unachieved badges once again.
And I never have to play that piece of crap again. Always a satisfying feeling after getting all the badges from a terrible game.
