lol. at least i got to the final boss to get mine. got kinda good at the game... meh.

bandit: did you at least read my guide on Kongreguide for Treasure of Cutlass Reef? it has a ton of strategy for the last level. if not, tisk tisk.

Yeah I checked it out because the game seemed annoying at first. So I restarted and went your strategy.

It just took a few tries on this computer at work to actually live with 130+ crew by the time the boss arrived. I had it at around ~115 crew before but it wasn't enough. With ~130 I killed the 2nd summon ship + boss at the same time. With the 115, I lose because a 3rd and 4th ship ended up coming later on. X(

Achilles, I thought, was easy. Do people stand and wait for guys? I was always on the move and just chucking spears whenever I got them. I did the survival first and easily made it past 100. Then got to the boss on first try in normal mode.

Oh...... Last night, after watching a movie that was quieter (thus having my volume really loud), I went to Kongregate and loaded up Achilles out of boredom... I minimized.... and suddenly I hear a ****ing loud yelling of ACHIIIIIIILLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!. Holy ****.... lmfao.... Scared the **** out of me.

i found achilles kinda hard. took me 2 tries on survival, and 3-4 runs to beat level 4... but once i had my strategy down on 4, only took 2 tries on 5.

my biggest issues is that sometimes you get bad luck'd into losing half or all of a life. either from multiple enemies getting you at once, or by accidentally going too far and touching the guy you're attacking, thereby not attacking at all. happened a few times.

basically, my strat was spear for instakill whenever possible. on archers, duck to block then move closer then duck again... the swipe and kick and swipe. for swear guys, just attack attack attack. for swordsmen, swipe then kick then swipe then kick.

Throw spear at a guy whenever you have one.
Duck and cover once to twice for achers.

Always move.... always try to run and slash. If you get slashed or hit or whatever, don't back up. Just slash away. But really, all you do is run and slash.

Kick the bosses to death.


You really get slammed by multiple people many times? It really only occured to me once to twice a level/stage (so 5-10 times whole game). Maybe because I was constantly on the move decapitating mo-fos. A good 75% of the guys I killed in one shot, either with a smack of the shield+stab, slicing off their head, or throwing a spear.

just ran through all of brute wars. man that game is boring. but, caught up with all the badges from when i was in philly. intrusion hard, last canopy hard, brute wars. woo.

i guess the question now is... to continue to whore amorphous or not.

I'm doing Amorphous right now. I plan to get it before I had back north. But, some of the awards are really hard to get.

I gotta change computers tomorrow (and can't access this one anymore since it's in germany xD) Thus erasing my save state on amorphous+ of 92 awards to 0. Yay!

You might be able to save your cookies and transfer them to a floppy disk or something. I don't think it's possible though, but it's worth a shot to try, if you want to.

you can easily just copy your save file and then email it to yourself, then download it on the new comp and paste it to the proper folder.

sounds complicated, but it really isn't that bad. but you do need admin rights on the computer, since you have to access application files which are normally hidden.

Amorphous is simple enough, just time consuming. I got all 110 awards twice because I liked the game.

I fail at Achilles. I'm trying to get the Onslaught 2 hard badge. My record is like 1250 so far. Any good combos that you wanna suggest?
