Re: NotFFRon
Still semi-working on 39. Haven't been doing anything with it all night and day. Hmm. My favourite level so far is probably 37 though. Or 22. Those were good ones.
Not really sure where to go with 39, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I got the relationship, but other than that... Last edited by remedy1502; 12-6-2010 at 11:18 AM.. |

Last night, me and my roommate solved the last legitimate level of Notpron (with a few hints from Rubix). We started two years ago. Just sayin'. Edit: I am also going to update the first post soon with some level hints. Last edited by JenovaSephiroth; 12-6-2010 at 12:07 PM.. |

Re: NotFFRon
I think 40 is a fair spot.
But it should probably be playable first. XD |

Re: NotFFRon
I think that the first token should be on 20. It would give people more incentive to actually play the notFFRon. I vote for a token on 20, and 40. (And wherever else)

Re: NotFFRon
Eh that's true actually. Having something at 20 is incentive enough to stick it out -- 40 may discourage those who get stuck on things as early as 5, only to get stuck again at 15, at 16, at 17, at 22, at 23, at 32, etc...

Re: NotFFRon
20 isn't a challenge for people who have done these before, but it's considerably hard for a newcomer. It wouldn't be a bad thing to have a token at both 20 and 40. This is FFR, not some extreme puzzle site, and I think there should be a reward for getting to 20, because it wasn't an easy task and 40 is just ridiculous for a "first" anything.
Also, I don't get the "no helping after 20" rule. What's the difference between an admin hint and a user hint. People who have the ability to get to 20+ probably aren't noobs who will go spilling answers out all over the place. Oh, and hint for 26 pl0x EDIT: This appears to be getting less and less like FFR as we go along too..

Re: NotFFRon
I think NotFFRon could stand to have some FFR-based riddles that require some deeper knowledge of the game in order to solve.

Re: NotFFRon
You guys bring up some pretty valid points. ;D
I keep forgetting that, as someone who's on the other side of the 'wall' here, the early stuff can be really challenging for some people, and level 40 must seem impossibly far away. With that noted, I'm gonna update the first post with some new info. Edit: updated also level 40 is in the works even now, this is like a team effort between me and Velocity Last edited by JenovaSephiroth; 12-6-2010 at 01:05 PM.. |

Re: NotFFRon
On level 39 right now, and of course, image title has relation to "the beginning", so I'm gonna have to hurt JS once more.

Re: NotFFRon
If it makes you feel any better, Halogen, I was stuck on 39 for a bit trying to figure out which "beginning" was being implied.
