I'm assuming they use global rankings as a baseline and then go through level ranks one by one to make sure it is an accurate depiction of skill.

Yeah I just looked at it more closely, it looks like it's going by the 'FFR Rank.'

They could have calculated in the FFR levels but I don't know that since it doesn't show other FFR levels on the individual user FFR profile pages. It only shows yours on your own profile page.

we're literally going through everybody's ranks with a fine-toothed comb.
Here's a picture of me doing it. (I didn't wanna spend the $$ on a fine-toothed comb so I use a shaving thingy instead).

I've gotten a LOT of requests for late signups. I will take people today but no later than that. I had signups open for two weeks and it was announced everywhere. I really need to focus on getting division placements done.

I just returned from a two-and-a-half week vacation to California. As soon as I got there, I checked this site for no reason on my cousins' Mac, played a song (the keyboard sucked), and left it until I got back.

Oh man, this is so embarrassing. I don't want to add to the burden now of all times, though. Sorry things are tight for you.

*I do placements in phases, so nothing is finalized until just before the start of the tournament. I will be doing a quick sort first as people come in so they're accounted for, then will have my team go through each division with me looking more closely at the participants. Please wait until we're closer to the start to voice concerns on any placement.

Quick sort = 'FFR Rank' which has been mentioned several times, no we don't just rely on this.
It only shows yours for you because you're not a veteran, we're able to see everyone's public and token levelranks.
