![]() This year was actually the first year I wrapped my own presents. Not saying I didn't get them wrapped before but others did it. I always prefer wrapping to gift bags.
This year Krissy just wanted stuff to open. So I did things like buy a DVD box-set and individually wrapped each DVD, and then the box. I did this with all her presents I got and put them all in a big gift bag. Totals like 30+ things for her to open. Was fun as I had to keep trying to find different ways to wrap the same thing (like for the DVDs). |

![]() I don't give my presents in gift bags. So you could say I wrap them, but I actually ring a company who you can pay to wrap your items. I'm no good at wrapping so it helps alot.

I would be like YAY A BOX THANKS MUM! Then I'd throw it at my niece and hope she would cry while saying "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Two birds with one stone. |

![]() My cousin-in-law used to have an informal contest with his buddies to see who could wrap up presents in such a way that opening them was as inconvenient as possible. It ended this year when one of them included a steel pipe that was welded shut and some other goodies (don't remember the full details), but when everything was said and done, the prize inside was a note that said where the real gift was located, which in this case was under a porch that until recently did not have a fence around it.
However, due to bad timing, things are such that the present is still sitting there and there's a fence around it. Tearing it down would be destruction of property, naturally, so the contest has since been canceled. Still, it was funny as hell to listen to some of the things they came up with. And the prize inside was almost always a gift card or something worth less than what they probably spent to wrap it. |

![]() It depends on the size and shape of the gift and how many gifts are going to one person. If I am giving a few little things to a person I will more likely put it in a gift bag. If the gifts are for a child, though, I always wrap them.

What you really do is tape the gift card to the underside of the first box lid, tape a layer of cardboard over to cover it, and then stick boxes inside. Then, when the victim reaches the last box and nothing's inside, you tell him/her to check the first lid and laugh about how much time was wasted!

![]() I was a professional wrapper once. Kind of funny really. It gets old after the 300th present or so. But I still wrap presents when I give them, especially for christmas. But if you suck at wrapping presents, and just pull the paper around the box and tie a string around the top, just stick to using bags. You need to know what you're doing. Who wants to get a ****tily wrapped present?

![]() My parents wrapped presents this year, but we don't even have a tree to put them under, rofl. (Too lazy.)
I already know what everything is, and I asked them why they were still wrapping things. My mom just mumbled something about tradition or whatever. |

![]() it's really cool what kind of wrapping paper you can get at the stores now, I was amazed at what fedex offered when I went to mail some gifts a few days ago to my family.
