Okay, I was really unclear on that. Let me put it this way.
You know how if you try to put a japanese PS2 game in an american PS2, it won't play, because it's only compatible with japanese PS2?

I'm talking, why not do the same thing with the game hardware and game software on DDR machines. So if I try to put bootlegged software for EX on my DDRMax machine, it won't work, because the hardware is rigged to only allow DDRMax to be played.

...If they did that they would have to make a different system everytime they released a new DDR, stupid. I'm not calling Arch stupid, I'm calling chardish stupid. Unless they modded their PSX to ONLY read DDR (mix) but that would be UBER fagish.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was stating that you said they should make new systems, or mod each of their psxes in their DDR machine to read only that mix, which is a stupid, yet resonable idea now that I thought about it...I cant wait for DDrMAX2 for PS2...I cant. I CANT! I WANT IT MORE THAN HL2 OR EVEN A GAMECUBE MWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. I'll probably help McClean with the tournament while a bunch of my friends enter. I would enter freestyle, but I haven't done any fs since April-May and I won't be able to practice up a routine for since I'm so busy with work right now.

Awesome, I'll see you there. If people use handles/nicknames there I'm sure it'll be easier to identify each other; if not, I'm Evan. Nice to meet you

Wow, Ive been playing DDR for awhile now, and Ive never seen anything like that. Sakura? Legend of Max? Parinoia survior max? Yeah, this one is about as hard. I'd rate this song from 10 to maybe 11, maybe with that part at the end. I think I might be able to do it, and after playing it in step mania, I saw that it was slower than the other maxxs, (I can only get a B on MAXX Unlimited Heavy) I'd really like to see someone like Take do this.

WSU (well this one is WSU3) is a DDR tournament held in Southwest Ohio, at Wright State University in Dayton. Since Nestle and I are both from Ohio, that's how the topic came up. For more details check out www.ohioddr.com - it's on the mainpage. Big money involved (well, for a DDR tourney): $200 for taking Heavy, $100 Standard, $50 Light.

Yes, biggest payoff in Ohio tournament history. My $106 prize is the third highest
I need to hold tournaments again.
But, anyway, Qreepy, I'm with you. I though song was heinous and the stepfile was sub-par. I'll always mark out for the little part in the bridge where the original DDR samples play though.

Pathetic, here in AZ were having a line of funtastiks and fiddlesticks tempe tournaments. At the last shit they pay for you to go to phoenix and the winner gets a DDR Machine.

I like the song, but the stepfile is bordering on retarded. That last set of 120+ arrows must be insane on foot. I belive MAX 300's longest set was 35+ arrows?
