If your human or wolf you should be playing to your wincon and that almost always involves staying alive and helping your team correctly read you (or obfuscating if your a wolf).

And despite what you think just dying early and having town fixate on cleaning your wagon for a few days is not a good stratagy, especially since its so easy to lay pressure on you that it could be a clean wagon at the end of the day

Is this true? This is not really how I think about it at least. In my mind, a wolf death has more potential to swing the overall outcome because there are fewer of them. Wolves already know who need to survive and them personally is ideally one of them, especially D0 because both have power roles. I at least have yet to see a single wolf on this website say they would be a good informative mishang option. There, however, are reasons it may be harder to genuinely argue on behalf of your survival if it is based on a lie. And I understand that these types of theoretical discussion can be kind of adjacent to who is what in this game, but I am still curious if people agree more with you.

its quite dumb to see someones perspective on life as good or bad. Lets be honest If someone is enjoying playing they game they'll want to live, and if they aren't they'll want to die. And someone getting a bunch of pressure put on them as town or wolf will generally not be having a good time. you can talk about the value of their life in the game as a whole for their team but lets be honest, this isn't perfect TWG and 90% of the time they're not thinking about the theoretical perfect play for their team.

I do actually believe this, its just also heavily tied to will to win as well and its very nuanced, its not as simple as i made it out to be earlier and its definitely not something i should be judging day 1. The second part of your statement is spot on, having to lie constantly induces something like survival fatigue as the game goes on and leads to some wolves not fighting back or seemingly being ok with dying.


Hatred isnt really ok with dying exactly, he was just commenting on the inevitably of it which isnt the same thing. I just twisted it slightly to mess with him and wring out more info from him.
