and ALSO even if all of the merlins die, if wolves are lynched, they don't have a clear advantage/disadvantage of knowing who is a merlin either way(since they flip alignment, not role)... am i missing something obvious here?

all this is to say, there's no reason to not lynch tonight actually.

Yeah he tends to coast more as a wolf and is less abrasive compared to town FFA

The reason would be that every Merlin knows a confirmed wolf. We basically have three free checks that could be useful late game

even if all wolves are killed, if they correctly guess the color of each merlin, they win. so can we actually successfully put these checks to good use?

so regardless, wouldn't we want to progress the game as fast as possible? this gives us a higher likelihood to reduce the number of wolves before they can reduce the number of merlins

How can it be 2022, This game be over 15 years old on this site and people still not understand why no lynching is a terrible option. You think you don't have data Day 1? Try having just a wolfkill to go on D2 it's equally as vacuous.

We need lynches and fear of dying from lynches to create vote movement so we can place blame and make associations. We use those two items to catch wolves.

[twgv]MML[/twg] for now while I get my kiddos to bed for pushing for No lynching which is a bad idea.

i feel that even though i have decided that no lynch is a bad idea, i'm still reading mml as town. otherwise he wouldn't push so hard on something so controversial
