Which anime am I think of? I watched the first episode of an anime that I think is from the 2000s, but I'm not completely sure. In the anime, there are two boys talking outside at school who are in the student council. One of them tells the other one that he used to be a lot more brash and hot-headed, but now he acts cool and collected. He responds that he had to change his personality to be on the student council. I think they are either in middle school or high school. I'm pretty sure it's a slice of life anime or a romance anime. I think they're childhood friends and I think the one who responded is the president of the student council.
