Welcome to FFR Proper.

I too am too old and lazy to stray from SM 3.9. I barely play anything other than FFR anyway so IF I HAVE to play a file outside of FFR and I just don't feel it in the Mania engine then I'll use SM.

For me, I use both 3.9 and 5. I have 5 running on my good laptop because so I can use the ultralight skin. I have a version of 3.9 on my Windows XP (yup) PC that came on this bootleg-looking installer CD. I got it bundled with a DDR softpad I bought off Amazon last summer. It works pretty well, and has a bunch of old pad packs from back in the day.

I edited the default SM 3.9 theme to make it look as close as I could get it to how it looks in TeRa's Made of Fire video. So pretty much I just got rid of the top and bottom boarders. I think it looks cleaner and also more like the ultralight theme imo.

If I'm not using that, I'll use like Xoon 4 or something.

not only do I suck at etterna, I also suck at stepmania 3.95. I mainly use 3.95 because I love the look of noteskins and themes

So something interesting I've been doing is taking old SM 3.9 era noteskins and converting them to Etterna. I've done it with both of Staiains old noteskins (ultimate v1 and v2) as you can tell in my scores

Request for me to convert any noteskin. I know Dynam0 wants a convert of the SM 3.9 Danular skin so I'll do that
