Not shoehorning into acquisitioner acting a certain way and playing solely based on that, but keeping worlds open. It has been a general opinion in this game that wolves would be much more worrisome of the acquisitioner role so would be more focused on catching them or figuring out how they play as others in this game have already been doing. Julian has not, they're acknowledging they could play however and has been focusing elsewhere. This is only a tiny bit of the thoughts on Julian, not all.

There's a very slight chance this could be a setup for backtracking if molly ends up getting lynched and ends up being town, but I think it's more likely here that they're just cautious about wagons forming too quickly which is a towny mindset. And again, I believe being weary of wagons forming quickly is a towny mindset. Wolves wouldn't care really, unless the wagon happened to be forming on their teammate so if you have an issue about this being a part of my read then that means disagree with the town read for this and that Julian and molly are teammates and Julian is distancing.
