I didn't even think it was average, I thought it was below average in pretty much every aspect other than the art. The game does look good and have nice characters. but the story is soooo cliche and not very captivating

lmao doki doki is a free game, also its really good, saying its bad is like saying undertale is bad... if you play it blind its surprising and a decent story, same with undertale, obviously if you spoil it for yourself it'll be bad

I purposefully avoided spoilers because I heard it was a good game and I still found it very predictable and cliche

It was free sure but there are a lot of free VNs that are just as cliche and have just as good art work, but aren't as praised because ????

Undertale was fun either way because it still had good humour and other game elements
