You assume that they know there was a Lost Wolf.

You are the Lost Wolf. You know you have five teammates, but you do not know their identities, character names, or roles. They are aware of your existence, but not your identity, character name, or role beyond “Lost Wolf.” You know that none of your teammates are Lost Wolves. You cannot perform the factional nightkill unless you are the last wolf alive.

1) did wolves know there was a lost wolf from the start?
2) if not, where they surprised when spruce announced that there were 6 wolves overall?

I feel like the second point is a good place to look. I know certain players were unusually suspicious of spruce's claim of 6 wolves. didn't somebody even call him a 3p? that person is almost certainly a wolf

hmm.

I'm going to admit that Raeko being killed adds a little credibility to Freezin being a blue role because the obvious targets would have been either me, him, The Innocent Child or maybe Spruce in fear of what else he may know. Instead they go for a safe "No one is gonna protect this person" target. That only makes sense to me if wolves know there are 2 protective roles and don't want to risk being blocked, instead taking their easy kill to lower numbers and moving from there. Had Freezin been a wolf they would know there's only one and that their chances of getting of the other 3 are high.

Then again here I am assuming that wolf Freezin can't control nightkills which in this hypothetical setup he could so you know, Protective role being easiest to fake blah blah.

I think I would have expected no kill and a claim that he protected DPB or Spruce though if he was faking it though....
