tbh ive put out 2 packs, with all songs being over that 17 threshold hes looking at.

my Oops chart is over a 17 and you cant call that shit "boss rush" at all

Yeah the name's kinda rushed. I'll change it up in time, but for now "boss rush" is the best I can come up with.

I'd leave it, it's a fine name. Boss rushes don't have to be impeccably difficult. Just for some added fun, take all the files and compile them into one simfile and then make that the final song in the pack. :troll:

stating "that's the title get over it" just kinda says to me that you don't actually care about the entirety of the pack creation process, and only just want to make a pack for your own attention's sake, rather than actually legit wanting to create a finished product that you've actually put full effort into people enjoying.

the "purpose" of your pack as stated in the opening post was "Think of this as Stepping Stones' counterpart. All difficult files all the time "
except your expertise in eyeing difficulty of files is pretty clear that you don't understand how much of a gap there is past the stepping stones difficulty. Like, you could call something like fullerene shift "boss rush" because that's the endgame of what most players will experience for playing stepmania. You could also call something like a hsmp, with absolutely stupid songs, "boss rush" because very few players could even imagine passing some of the songs in there. Especially with your difficulty scale specification, you can literally take the majority of packs released, since they will have the majority of charts being rated at over a 17 in etterna difficulty.

like literally you can call this pack *ANYTHING* else - make it your own pack or w/e idk
just, taking the attitude of "this is the title just deal with it" makes me want to probably never play the pack, and will probably turn plenty of other people away from the pack when they see the title "boss rush" and see the requirement "has to be 17+ or harder", given that the vast majority of active, and actually participating members of the stepmania community use files of those difficulties to go to sleep

Relax yoshl it's just a stepmaina simfile pack. I just figured a pack without easy files would be interesting to do. It's not like I'm trying to sell the cure for cancer or something, jeez. Besides, not a lot of people can do most of the stuff in stepping stones and have to rely on pad packs to get going, so making the simfile pack a "boss rush" just means there's harder than average simfiles in the pack that are meant to test you. It's not Nuclear Blast levels of difficult, but it's not supposed to.

nuclear blast isn't even the end game of difficulty, you comparing your pack to that kinda shows just how much you know about the spectrum of files out there tbh.

your point of "making the simfile pack a "boss rush" just means there's harder than average simfiles in the pack that are meant to test you." can be replaced with literally any other pack name. what makes your pack different from the rest is that you're trying to replicate the niche difficulty inbetween like D3 and D5+ from the looks of it, and naming the pack "boss rush" literally makes no sense

i'm half assuming you're not going to change the pack name because 1) you're too stubborn to listen now that you've tried to unsuccessfully try and refute points, and 2) because you already made graphics for it
