Have everyone, if the host wishes, to turn their profiles to CLOSED to players don't have that option. It won't change the name thing at the bottom, but yeah.

at any rate:

in the days to come we'll likely need to have a more substantive discussion on this. what i recommend in the interim, since the way the information was obtained is part of site behavior we can't really control, is to either close your profile if you like (removes the link to where you're viewing currently) or read on incognito at night. or, don't make or click single-post links from the postnum.

i figure you can send games to AA, and i can put up a turbo in a couple days if people are itching to play a game again by then

Okay, tangent, but imo this needs to be dealt with too

regarding angleshooting, I don't think meta / quoting other game posts is a problem

but the thing that happened here, and the "invisible" potential exploit should be addressed immediately

I feel like the game was good at its core with the roles and the day/night set up, but I think it got off to a bad start. I'd be down to re-roll this game sometime in the future.

I don't think they would consciously use it, but shado said somewhere that "it's not really something you can forget if you see it"

I trust our mods to not exploit this

it's a mechanical imbalance nonetheless
