Oh guys FFVII is a good game, it's just that it gets overhyped
To be honest the hardest pill to swallow is that unlike the older ones FFVII has not gotten a better translation and it's fucking disgusting to play through as an adult. You don't care when you re young I guess (looks over at Metal Gear on NES) but I promise if there's one aspect that makes people judge this game harshly it's the translation and eye-cancer inducing 3D effects
'Ayy gurl... ya got some nice 1997 CGI TITS

Question, aren't handhelds consoles too?
jIII?
.....Good point.
I'm just trying to make clear that I mean the Japanese III, not VI which was released in America as "Final Fantasy III" back in the 90s.
Doing the FFXIII midnight release I almost got in a fight because I said I found III to be boring and not good. Half the people thought I meant VI and the mood quickly went south.
Only wolves would know that they had to pick Scissor to win.
#Confirmed Charu human.
He said he thought someone was NULL previous game ergo, he's doing the same here ergo he has to be human or he won't be able to sleep at night.
#Charu solved, moving on.
Second does have a horrible main plot, but I actually liked a good deal of the characters and their backstories. Which ones did you find bad?
Both have great OSTs though, that much I can say.
I actually stopped playing the game mid-way through Chapter 1 because Yew and everyone else were so insufferable. ("Go for the gravy!") Also I needed space on my 3DS to play Zero Time Dilemma.
The music was good from what little I experienced and the job dilemma choices were very interesting.
This is coming from someone who has only played FFs 1-6 and has not touched the 3D ones.
You have good taste. The job system in five is godly.

You really can't go wrong with most anything Uematsu did past 1992. Are you saying FFIV is your favorite?
This is true. No, I'd say it goes FFVIII, FFVI/FFV/FFIV all tied for 2nd place, and FFXIII for third. The only one I haven't ever played is FFX, regretfully. I was too disheartened after FFIX tbh D:

there are really charming things about FF7 imo, but it's more of an "impactful" game, rather than a "good" game, if you catch my drift
i.e. you can thank FF7 for RPGs being so prevalent in the west
6, 4, 10, and Tactics are my faves though personally
This is true, and you have good taste.
