one of the biggest reasons I think he's town is because of these two posts. he makes a check on charu, who isn't in the game, then corrects himself. Now he could have easily brushed it off as shitposting. if you look at the turbo that was rerolled I actually did just that, because I was looking to fake for the seer, thought charu was in the game, and "greened" charu until indheart pointed out he wasn't even in the game, so I acted like I was just messing around.
but aryxi doesn't do that, which makes me think there are a few things that could be happening
1. aryxi is town and wants to help protect the seer and still add confusion, so he restates his check
2. aryxi is wolf and wants to fit in, so he corrects his check
while they both seem similar, I think it's much easier as a wolf to not bother blending in, because you have no incentive to help the seer and fake checking doesn't *really* earn you any townpoints. no one will also push a legit case just off you not checking someone as a reason for being a wolf. since aryxi chose to restate his check and also stated that it was a mistake, it comes off as very honest and town-sided, even if saying it was a mistake kind of invalidates it
the next series of posts that he has ending in this also seem very natural. he wants to point out that in past games he's been trying to say useful things but kind of felt pushed out, and sounds a bit indignant when shado throws shade on him for saying that. MML you mentioned that he'd been sheeping and while I see that, I saw some original thoughts, that while they weren't necessarily super insightful, show that he's thinking.
I also think that given that he seems to be a newer player, sheeping off of people and saying that you agree with things isn't as bad as it normally might be. It also didnt' seem like he was just trying to pile on one person, he just seemed to pick things he actually agreed with.
I think this is also actually a good point to bring up
and this post seems more characteristic of a new town who wants things to happen, rather than a new wolf who hopes to go unnoticed

Nobody really had any wolf reads other than Shado and Haku being weird and self destructive. So I would think that if a wolf tried to lay low for the first day, maybe the wolf is still chillin now. It wouldn't be effective because today's kinda slow but regardless, it's something to consider.Originally posted by Charu

Interesting. I didn't expect that response.
I like how you say that it's gotta be me first, then imply the idea/me is stupid. I think I honestly expected you to outright deny the usefulness of that post count like DFR did.
What difference does this make? If wolves ain't looking for the seer for whatever reason then fantastic---but it's simply safer to assume they are.
Arxyi looked like he was pushing you and I like that.

Well if you're gonna ask me point blank, none at all. I believe he's a green confused and lost and looking for guidance. Having played or read every FFR TWG he has played, this feels like a natural progression. Oh plus he's my check.
My point is that at the time there wasnt much of a difference between Arxyi and James posting wise, so calling one pure and the other sheep seemed wierd, although I'm sure meta played a role I your choice. With your Arxyi post, I'm pretty ok with it.Comment
