I mean I'd never heard of Ferrari once before this pack but the guy can step and deserves his files in the pack. Despite having never seen his work before I enjoyed his files, so as long as the files come out good that's a good charter imo, what more can you ask for

Yeah it does feel a bit empty, doesn't it? I did feel a bit restricted in arrow placement though, since there were dual holds which only leaves me to two free lanes.

yeah, was wondering if you would have been able to sacrifice one of the holds for more columns to actually do anything live on stream. I've come to really enjoy files that actually make good use of holds, and i did enjoy the file otherwise

tbh i think my reviews are more of like, things to point out in the files, rrather than how much i enjoyed them

But to sum up a few:

Least liked files:

Your Worst Nightmare - This is here strictly because the first pause section doesn't align correctly for me and I think Arnt would be able to vouch for this possibly. Conceptually it looked pretty good though, but I dunno.

And it's not because I use SM3.95, because I use SM5, and this is the only x-mod file I've had an issue with.

Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans - Not a fan of these charts, but considering I'm charting it myself, I've got some biases here. The heavy does stuff right, but isn't what I wanted out of it, the experience feels incomplete, however, the oni is too much, to a point where it just feels uneedingly over-layered. Like I kinda get what the layering is to, but I can't say it's feels good to play.

Hopefully that's not too harsh.

Final Battle! Rival - Another song I charted (so a lot of bias here) and like I know what you're going for hi19 man, but it's just, a tid bit too empty for me (and I LOVE easier files.) Especially when mine looks like this (I'm sorry if this is a bit unfair of a comment but I dunno)

Art Through Adversity - Those jacks imho should have been trills mate. I can't get over it either. They're a LARGE mood killer for me.

Rhythm and Balance - Those holds to the lyrics are WAY too inconsistent and I question why they're there. I also dunno why this song sounds like such garbage. Like the fact it's a sonic song doesn't bug me but like, the grainy sound is unbearable.

I LOVE IT:

Variations of a Castle - Variation of a good experience is what it ought to be called. Fucking, damn.

Gerudo Valley - Already commented on this. But IT FLOWS SO GOOD.

Zelda 20th medley - I nearly quit out because I fucking got emotional. Love this file man.

In the Fires of Ignition - <3

Baba Yetu - This file is one of the most interesting files. I remember seeing you stream charting this. It's a fucking experience.

Pancakes - I didn't know what to expect of this, and to be upfront, I'm still confused.

Honorable Mentions:

Jet Set Future - I'd like this file if it was shorter, but it drags a bit hard towards the end for me.

Jurassic Dope - This is really entertaining.

Wiosna - This file is great, but I just can't lump it with say In the Fires.

Note: I am not done with VGMP4 yet. These are based solely on what I've played so far. Some of the files I don't like are purely a preference, so I hope no one takes it too poorly. Each file in here is good in most merits.

The song is for a level played by Shadow the Hedgehog. Grainy = gritty = dark/emo/etc. = Shadow lol
