Your strengths and weaknesses may never change, but they will still get better as you do, albeit disproportionately of course. You're bad at jumpstream, so just play jumpstream files. Play them for hours. Play ones you have to struggle to SDG, and play ones hard enough to make your hands and arms burn. Then play them some more. Then, the day after the next, play them again. If you aren't already doing this, you can't say you're stuck. Plateauing doesn't really exist, if you aren't improving it means you haven't put in the effort needed to improve, or your effort has been misapplied. It's more of a problem at really high levels, but never totally concrete.
D1 is getting assblasted, but it sure seems like everyone's really into it regardless ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
so i was looking through old official tournament threads, and apparently in the 5th official, the d1 semifinal was procrastination on a paper (62) which is marginally harder than the current d1 semifinal
... the cutoff was AAA or die
come on d1, you're slacking this time round
Theorem: If you have a large enough number of monkeys, and a large enough number of computer keyboards, one of them will sight-read AAA death piano on stealth. And the ffr community will forever worship it. ProofExample

d1 was *filled* with sandbaggers/cheaters in the 5th official

also the 5th official (sei-triplex either cheated or super-sandbagged, thinking the former really, and marthalolz's account was being used by summerschool for the last round)
If anyone is interested in donating prizes, you are more than welcome to do so (as it has occurred in the past). However, prizes need to be confirmed by me before being listed on the OP as an official prize, as it needs to be ensured that they are received. If you opt into providing a prize, confirm with me, and do not deliver, you will be severely reprimanded.

They will also receive the three older support tokens and event tokens as a memento of their incredible skill, as they did in the past tournament.
Same exact reason. There was a problem with D1 in the 10th Official Tournament because 1st place included an $80 prize.
Now of course cheating in the lowest division is a shameful thing to do, but if someone was able to keep a low profile and doesn't care about staying around the site, that was an easy $80. noname219 mentioned this as well. This time around D1 has no monetary prizes.

Now i see why the good prizes are only for the higher divisions...
