I almost just improved a top 15 score!! which means I am getting some of my old skill back i guess. still can't really touch my 80+ scores though =/

What's up with all the jacks in this division? Huh?

I mean Nebula had minijacks sure but the other two songs were technical files
Travel Demon barely has a semblance of jacky stuff but again the others are largely more on the technical side (Toki more JS-esque)

Granted if y'all want a week of something like Celsus / Pure Ruby / Spaceman I feel like that might be a bit on the boring side but idk what you all like

Really happy with the Toki score. I couldn't read that ending at all when I first joined this rivalry! Trying not to care about the miss ^_^.

In other news, my best on Travel Demon is like 11 goods so obviously looking forward to trying to beat that

Don't worry Dei. I was just giving you a hard time. The song choices are fine, I just noticed that are plenty of jacks in that division, or at least it stood out to me.

Here are some runs.

So, the first two files, Cheat Codes & Autumn Breeze, were played with my regular offsets.


Travel Demon & Toki were played with different Judge Offsets at first (I asked a couple higher-division players at different times on what I can do to improve and they gave me nearly the same answer, so I tried it out)...

Then I played with my normal offsets.

I think I'm just going to stick to what I know.

Yeah messing with your settings never really works out in the short term unless something is actually wrong with the file's sync (2% of the time, most people who say stuff is offsync are just johning)

The main things to help work out kinks in a file are isolations (don't do it too much, and add back in the rest of the file slowly), rates (eghhh, only for working out patterns), and playing other similar songs and coming back (actually useful for mentally clearing your head)
