Good job to OP for organizing all this. And hot damn, I remember when we had only a handfull of folks making music. FFR has come a a ways.


Just one thing: as proud as I am to have been apart of all this at one point, I'm not very active anymore so please don't PM for MP3s. Besides, I no longer have Yaeger and I haven't spoken to Sherry Kim in years.

That reminds me, I asked Pronskunk about it a while back, and he never got back to me on it because of IRL stuff.

Anyone know what the deal with the Kradness / Reol permission is?

Because their cover of "Children's War" was used in the stepcon, which means we probably have permission from them to an extent, just curious what it is.

Because Reol put out an album, and nothing would get me charting faster than being able to do songs off it. (Side note: It's really good.)

Though, maybe I should check with the company it was released through as well :/

I don't know anything about such a permission, it's probably similar to Wheelpower & Go! though.

Was digging through the permissions list as I'm finally gonna ask for a permission I've been wanting for a while and I saw that you're missing the screen shot for Zentra's permission

Here it is, I went and dug it up, and recaptured it so you have it.

I looked for the Arrowhead permission in the messages folder, but it's not there so me being me, I probably deleted it like a dummy, as messages in the inbox anywhere ANNOYS me immensely. The fact this is here earnestly surprises me.

Edit: Ok, not a total dummy, found it as it was in my google folder for these.

Also feel I should note I did this because I saw I'd deleted the old images.

Edit 2: Oh, I'm dumb and it's about links. Eh w/e probably better these are reposted either way.

Fixed a few details for cosMo, Cuevox and tsukasa on the first page (HP -> homepage).

@ XelNya : added Sebastien Skaf. (I might remove/edit that post once I get everything sorted out in the wiki)

@ lurker : awesome.

I added both T2Kazuya and Jillian Aversa/pixietricks to the list. Jillian Aversa is covered by the OC label permission anyway, but a screenshot to prove for T2Kazuya should be appreciated.

Sent an email to Maltine Records. Hopefully we can nab their permission (￣o￣) . z Z (which means if I do get the perms, I can convert a few songs that I have stepped from that record for FFR ۹(๑•̀ω•́ ๑)۶ )

Edit: tried to see if I could find anything in regards to permissions (and policies) since it is a netlabel before sending an email to them requesting for permission. As far as I could see, I wasn't able to find the stuff that says we can have the go-ahead to use them without asking for permission. Can someone double-check the page to see if they can find anything in regards to their licensing? Bumping it because I'm still curious on the case with Maltine Records since it is a Netlabel. I'll send a follow-up email in a few days to them if there's no answer from them but considering that their releases can be downloaded from their site for free, I just want to know: do they still fall under the CC licenses? I just want to get that cleared up before I do anything else because I've been looking through their page and there's nothing indicating on what CC license they use.

Attribution/non-commercial for this album at least. Can't find anything else about their policy or terms of use.

Not everything that can be downloaded for free falls under a Creative Commons license. One example here. It's always best to ask for permission, so the artist knows that their songs is used in a game.

Alrighty. I just wanted to double check. If anything, if I don't get a response from the label itself by Monday, I'll send them one more email. I don't want to touch on that album you linked just yet until I get confirmation from them.

Updated the wiki page for Vale, so it's clear that it's me.

Also, I no longer care about reviewing files for those old songs, so consider my permission blanket.

I'm very disappointed. I can remove the permission screenshot and personnal information if the artist prefers to. Removing the page entirely is detrimental for both parties because it will cut a way for users to seek out for his music (links) and step artists to search within the wiki for artists to step.
