I admit I approached DBP poorly. There was no real reason he'd lie about going to DD as a wolf, so "testing" him was stupid and it would have had more utility to just come out with it straight away. I wasn't really even thinking about proving my humanity at that time.

So by tokzic's logic, he is clearing DBP because besides me, thats the only place where he knew someone went. He had to ask dpb directly 2 mins before to actually have a claim. There is no reason why a real tokzic would ask when he would already know.

again, i didn't think this through or i'd have realised a wolf hiding in dd would absolutely be proud to state that's where they went

Because if you are a wolf who wanted to use your advantaged state to take an extra bathroom stall or you were stuck in the movie theatre you would need a seering result to prove you went into the seering booth you reclaimed from Xiz.

Anyways, so the absolute first thought that went through your mind, before posting the results, was that you wanted to test DBP? Like irregardless of how good of an idea that was, your first thought and motivation for messaging him was testing him?

ok now you are getting silly. nobody else is claiming to have tried to go to the security booth. it is reasonable to assume that tokzic did go and did see backpack in the DD. you asking for proof of his check before he tried to test backpack is implying that he could be lying without first simply thinking if it is at all possible to think that tokzic didn't get a chance at a check last night, and currently there is no reason to suspect that is the case.

wanting to test someone using your check is towny. i would have likely tried the same thing, despite it not necessarily being conclusive.

a couple points:

1. if tokzic is real dabackpack IS confirmed town, as it is likely the roaming mafia is one of the claims.

2. if tokzic is fake the easiest way to get a mislynch (AND A VALUABLE ONE, AT THAT) is to fake a check on xiz, who everybody already thinks is an outed wolf, and say he was not able to be found using the security booth. i mean at this point if we lynch xiz and he flips town I think most people are going to suspect tokzic over botchi (though I am unsure about this). it's a simple sac but considering the PRs are difficult to kill and you can take out many town in a night this isn't an unreasonable trade.
