I actually thought of that exact scenario too, but I think his presentation of his strategy was terrible. There's also a big difference between trying to clear yourself and having PRs out to you.

this logic is garbage, "anyone who votes me is terrible". not when you sound way more confident than you should be and are asking to be town leader before proving yourself

if you're referring to rzr I don't really see what's so scummy about him, he seems the same as last game. He said he wanted to get a reads list out early so that botchi could use it as an example. Not alignment indicative but I also didn't see any of the hedging you pointed out

stop assuming everyone else sees things the same way that you do and that anyone who disagrees with you sucks/is scum

jfc you are blind to the point where it's hard to believe it is anything other than forced. it did not take long to recognize that you are one of the more intelligent people in this game, but i'm saddened to learn you are not town aligned with me.
