Bynary influenced me... I got Epic Boss Fighter on the 14th, Rogue Soul 2 today (almost a week of playing on and off) and then somehow managed Oo about 4 hours later

I'm working on Hippolyta and Cardinal Quest 2...

Wow, very nice gets, especially on Oo! I'd have to say getting BAC on Track was the worse of the two - Rogue Soul just required consistency, but Oo was honestly insanity-inducing.

For Cardinal quest, I strongly recommend using the Ranger class on either acts 2 or 3 - the bow&arrow and the dog were invaluable in killing enemies from a safe distance, especially once you hit the Wastelands in Act 3 (which is the act I played for the badge).

Oo was really crazy, yeah. I had a weird strategy for the Drunk part (which paid off), which was doing the normal endless mode first, then doing all four levels on Drunk mode to get used to it, and then doing Drunk endless. It probably took me less than 5 tries to get the 50 points after that

Ranger does seem really good, but the game definitely does get hard, even on normal difficulty. (I don't actually have the hard yet!) I know you have to go pretty fast to get the Imp badge, but you also have to be strong enough to defeat the final boss, so I imagine it'll take some playing around to get the tradeoffs right...

I know you have to go pretty fast to get the Imp badge, but you also have to be strong enough to defeat the final boss, so I imagine it'll take some playing around to get the tradeoffs right...

What I'd suggest is that you try and collect whatever treasure you can and kill any enemies you see, but never search the map trying to find that last treasure chest or enemy - you'll wind up wasting a lot of time that way. I finished my run at around 55 minutes of game time comfortably above the 120k mark, though I did break my own rule a little bit in regards to not hunting down the last enemies. Getting EXP is more important than treasure as you *really* don't want to be underleveled in the later stages.

Every time I have to get a badge that demands hours and hours of grinding, a little piece of my soul withers away. I remember playing this game years ago - I got the first two badges in 2009 and sucked too much to get the other two. This badge wasn't actually hard to get, it just took freaking forever.

I played until level 53 since the badge was slow to register my getting to level 50.

Yo Bynary, have you got the Impossible for Gravitee yet? I'm only 5 Platinum medals away from getting it, really not all that hard except for the later rounds were being a few pixels off can nudge your shot just off of the hole.

Nope, that one's not in my badge list yet. Funny you mention it though, I have the easy badge on it from December 17, 2008 - I think that was the same day I signed up on the site. I might try to go for it now that you mention it, though. I tried and failed to get a lot of impossible badges when I signed up right after, and I'd love to have all the badges rather than just the easiest ones.

Wow, congratulations. Some of the comments on the game suggest that many of the later swings come down to a difference of a few pixels...that's gotta be fun.

Got Hippolyta Really great game, but those 4ish minutes felt like forever. (Not as long as some of my FFR AAAs felt, though.)

And this isn't an impossible, but you don't wanna know how many times I've given up on this over the years...

Oh god, I'm just now having flashbacks to that game. Yeah, that's another soul-crushing badge that's gonna take forever to get, I just know it. Kudos to you Gradient! Nice job on Hippolyta as well although I imagine Triangles was the harder of the two, heh.
