I'm in and looking for a teammate. As a warning, I only recently became D2, so maybe someone else who just moved up a division would be good so we can both get in good practice and I won't have to worry about bringing the team down. Let me know if you want to join me.

Each team member will play songs based on their division, and scored based on my adjusted scoring system, where the LOWEST scoring team wins -

Perfects - 0 Points
Greats - 1 Point
Averages - 2 Points
Misses - 3 Points
Boos - .5 Points

For example - Let's say someone gets 6-1-2-2 on Return to Fire
Their score would be 15 Points

A AAA would be 0 Points

Wouldn't using a good-converted score as the points just be a lot simpler, more evenly and fairly weighted, and more familiar?

Probably, But everyone won't have the same max raw score since we're crossing divisions. I could instead use "points below max raw score" and be a lot more familiar for everyone.

For people in D2, would we be allowed to pick songs from 25-35 or sumtin,
or are we even allowed to go up to like... 49...

I'm assuming songs will be picked for us unless it's just a "play any song between X and X difficulties." type of thing.

Man, I really wanted to team up with DDRNGGin, since we are such fans of DDR, but if ChaosBolt and DDRNGGin are that close in skill, and if they really want to team up with each other, that's okay.

That's p much what I meant yeah

Say two different divisions had scores of 1942-12-1-0-2 and 1438-7-0-2-4
They'd have respective scores of 14.2 and 12.6
Then use lowest etc

haha yea i noticed the reference. anywho, does that mean squid is d4 or d5? with the cross-divisional idea. im not favoring one way or the other, i just want him to be placed where he belongs so its more fair. im assuming he wants the same.

Everyone is currently split into 5 different divisions, but these are not final. Some of the boundaries are based on the sign ups so far to promote as fair of competition as possible

I'll let my teammate decide on that one. Or he can think of a name that's better than mine!
