Yup, this one and the last. Even if your abilities are spotty or confined to certain types of files, it still justifies being D6 in my book. When I asked about it at the beginning of the 9th official, I got told it was because I was "actually packing some firepower in the FGO territory". Which is fair, I guess, but if I am then you are too.

(I know tournament placement is a game of moving goal posts from one to the next, but my level ranks didn't change one bit from the 9th to the 10th.)

like, D4 final for the 6th official was an 87, and in the 10th, D4 only hit an 80, and D5's final is an 86

kinda like how D1 had magical 8bit tour for one of the very early tournaments

yea, werent there less divisions back during the 6th official? with more divisions being added, it makes sense that there is less* spread between each one.
if there are only... let's say 5 divisions, then d4 is gonna be very high. back in the first official, there were only 3 divions (lol), so it makes sense when division 3 is considered very good at the time. now with more divions than from the 6th official, d4 isnt as high as it was back then. comprende? honestly, d5 to d6 is a promotion, shouldnt u be treating it like it is one?

fair enough. i wouldnt wanna end up leaving my team either from promotion... i want to be d4, but at the same time i dont cuz i'd have to leave team shoe. someone else will be the judge of that, if tourney host feels like looking at my level ranks too or something. so yea, i see where ur comin from.

edit: yea, dark can u look at my level ranks to be safe? dont wanna cause any sandbagger accusations or something similar to that.

There is absolutely no reasonable way YoshL is D5.
"I have lots of D6 scores but I don't want the parts of the game I'm good at to count when determining my placement" is not a compelling argument.

Who cares about past divisions, all that matters is the current division lines since they are way more accurate. And I just looked through your levelranks, you have similar, if not better, scores on mid 80 difficulty songs than most D6 players.
