I'm only going to say one thing and then I'm done with this.

The previews are only to help you see a section of the song and get you prepared for that type of file. Whether you can read it or not due to the way the notes scroll is entirely irrelevant. IMO, the previews are helpful for warming people up, but you cannot judge the song due to the 20-30seconds of time you get to see that ONE section of the song.

You can do what most people do and wait until the round starts to judge the file and not complain about it.

definitely agree with this. like, even tho the preview was upscroll and i use downscroll, i could tell just from the drums what type of song it was, and which songs i should practice in order to get prepared for it. of course, my own performance is to blame for only getting an 11g haha :P the preview vids are helpful whether or not they reflect the exact same settings that any given person uses, and should be done however halogen sees fit.

This might be a controversial opinion, but I'd like the preview videos to be upscroll because the majority of players use upscroll.
