this is pretty interesting

what im noticing with the group B files is that you can tell who is an FFR stepper and who is primarily a SM stepper lol

only played one file so far where i was immediately like, "i know who stepped this"
i bet a lot of the results will surprise me

Did Lovely City 6 get really offbeat for anyone else?

I figured I'd bring it up since I sincerely doubt that was the stepper's intent and that it was some conversion error. It makes the file pretty unplayable unfortunately.

idk abou tthe offbeat but if that's true then it sucks cuz I liked that file. Maybe it's due to notes coloring ??

Yeah, the first color-notes are exactly where it happens. It doesn't happen again later so basically I have to play the first quarter with really off notes just to get the rest of the file to play okay.

Wasnt surprised only 10 ppl stepped lovely city.

There should have been a pool of songs for the participants to pick which songs they would like to see in the upcoming rounds. The songs/group each individual get is remained randomized, but atleast the highest voted songs would have been picked which might give a better interest overall.

ex. 1st round had three groups so a pool of 5 songs where each person can choose 2-3 songs out of the five.

Group A favourites: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8
Group C favourites: 2, 7 sort of, 15, 17, 20

I think that if this were one of the later rounds, the competition in group A would be pretty fierce.
As for my group, it's certainly interesting to see all the different ways that song was stepped compared to my own file. Especially the guitar solos..

Just so we're clear, what are the rules on telling other people which file was yours?

I was under the assumption it was supposed to be ~secret~ considering our names are very clearly not on there but idk
