Lavadoom, you are being disrespectful to the tournament host. Everyone else, it's been said to discontinue responses to this situation.

Cases like this are reasons why tournament rules are going to be revamped in the near future, but I would like to be clear right off of the bat:

---

Lavadoom:

1.) You are expected to perform at your best level (or as reasonably close as possible throughout the tournament). Attempting to mask your skill to receive a lower division placement is considering sandbagging, something that is not only generally frowned upon. Given that your IP matches Rapta in at least one form, he could have (and likely should have) told you that this is something that needs to be watched out for.

2.) You entered a tournament on a brand new account that was created very close to the tournament's start date (within a month), with very few scores to back up any sort of divisional placement outside of D1. Improving at an extreme rate in that short of a time period is very possible, but you are claiming an extremely large playcount when both instances of your AAAs have been followed with not only no restarts, but also generally low playcounts in your level ranks as well. To further indicate things, you did not AAA any other song in the tournament, so nailing the last round under these circumstances is without question a red flag.

3.) A player capable of AAAing a song in the mid-20s is D2 under all circumstances -- the skill curve of D2 is rather large to accommodate for those who are not newer players with increased accuracy, something that D1 players do not have.

4.) An inability to perform well on the final round on the division that you belong in does not mean that you do not belong in that division. Speak to anyone who happens to be on the lower end of their division (cedo: D6, psychoangel: D5, CarrotCake: D3, etc) and they will likely point you to level ranks that are absolutely -horrible- in the ranges of these final rounds.

Given the situation and examination between Rapta's most recent plays and Lavadoom's most recent plays, they are using different settings, speed mods, screen cuts, and other various things. The unfortunate thing is that there is a massive skill disparity between the two players, with the lower level player generally using a lower speed mod (the opposite makes it very easy to see fradulent play). As such, it would be quite easy for Rapta to play for Lavadoom given the generally low density in files and generally low speed mods (again, the opposite would be much better as proof).

I do not think Lavadoom is having Rapta play for him, but I do generally agree that skill was being masked in an effort to just stay in a given division. To continue, Lavadoom mentioned that the songs were much too easy early on in the tournament, and yet continued to perform poorly. There are a number of red flags in this situation.

As usual, the tournament host reserves all rights to disallow users, as well as terminate users from play if they believe that something is being done unfairly.

You guys are still completely avoiding my point. I did not want to continuously play an easier song that i did not have to, if I were already winning the tournament. I did not sandbag, i simply improved throughout the tournament, and If you've actively been here as long as your account says you have then you know that I'm not lying about that. As for the easier songs in the beginning, I could have AAA'd them, but It would have taken me at least 100 tries at that point because I was not as good as I am now. The fact that I increased in skill level enough to be considered D2 on the final round is completely the hosts fault and has nothing to do with me, you should have advanced me if you thought I was too good. I did not mask skill, and just because you believe that something is wrong doesn't mean it is. Logical reasoning, you have no official evidence against me, only theoretical propositions which i have disapproved countless times. Where you see it as sandbagging, I saw it as I wanted to make sure was actually prepared before I moved on to a higher division without knowing for sure if I was good enough.

Explain the correlation between your supposed 200 restarts, your two AAAs runs having no restarts, and your low playcount in your level ranks.

You are also being overly blunt and defensive; I made my post to clear up information as to why you might be having issues, is all. Also, as I said before: tournament hosts reserve the right to remove a user at any point, and your behavior is certainly not helping at all.

I'm very sorry AJ and Kayla for the dragging situation, but I only have one more say to hopefully prevent him from saying anything else that will get him banned.

I was D3 one round, next round I was D5. Was I ready? Hell no. That's the point of being in these tournaments, to improve within yourself the skill capable of having competition in a friendly manner via keysmashing.

They've both denied cheating in that way to me multiple times. I mean, I've known Rapta for years and he doesn't seem like the type of guy to help someone cheat in that way, if that means anything at all.

And yeah, Lava really needs to cool down before addressing anything else.
