![]() you should probably have a pack with unreleased charts only because the bunch of files you probably don't have packs I compile and release focus mostly on single releases and random files that are passed around and happen to end up in my hands.
I already have a practically finished volume 4, I just need to do last minute stuff and release it, rofl. and already a volume 5 piling up really quickly. difficulty ratings I guess if you're sticking with the old school 10+ ratings, use something similar to what GLoVE did in ODI3 maybe. of course, I'd recommend using nps scale+fudgefactor, but again it's not entirely accurate unless you have several people playtest the files and contribute their opinions on how much to fudge.

![]() I'm perfectly alright with an unreleased file only pack. If you've actually been doing a released files collection, I trust its good enough for me to not have to do one too

quality control was non-existent haha you're gonna have to do this pack as a submissions pack. there are 0 single releases that aren't in packs already.

![]() I don't think you can have a DCP/LCP without a lot of stepdude elitism, it just wouldn't feel right.
(I don't mean elitism in a bad way here) |

![]() I've noticed there are a lot of people who can make good simfiles now, like 3 times as many than in 2008.

![]() there are no simfile artists currently that could make files worthy of being in a pack even remotely related to dcp

![]() people don't play stepmania to enjoy a file, they play stepmania to get scores
and then they post said scores and no one comments on them because everybody else is too busy posting scores take a look at sm scores right now, for the last however long you'll find the following: 5+ people post scores one person comes in and says "wow everyone's getting good" that person posts scores rinse and repeat you'd get more submissions if you started a dump chancellor's pack |

there are a lot of people who play files just because they're fun, and obviously they're not going to post in the brag board for stuff like that |
