I also get a good laugh sometimes from watching videos of dumb atheists and their arguments.

EDIT: Please do not misinterpret my post to mean that all atheists are dumb. When I say "dumb atheists", I am talking about the proper subset of atheists that is contained in the set of atheists which includes both dumb and smart atheists. I know this EDIT may be unnecessary, but I just want to cover my bases because I don't want to cause trouble.

I feel sorry for some of the atheist/christian videos concerning cause and effect and the origin of the universe. For many that made those videos, the intention was not to prove that god exists. It was instead to counter the typical argument that many naive atheists use to prove that god doesn't exist (many atheists make the claim that god can not exist because the law of cause and effect states that something must have "caused" god to exist). No one likes having people shove religious views down their throats. Likewise, religious folks don't like atheists shoving unsound "proofs" of god's non-existence down their throats either. Proof of the existence of a higher power can neither be proved nor disproved. So for every dumb theist that "proves" the existence of a higher power, there is going to be an atheist of reasonable intellect that will point out the flaws in the theist's argument. Likewise, for every dumb atheist that "disproves" the existence of a higher power, there is going to be a theist of reasonable intellect that will point out the flaws in the atheist's argument.

EDIT: If you sincerely believe in Pastafarianism and The Flying Spaghetti Monster though...I think we should talk...
