Announcing Event: File Gauntlet

Hello everyone, seeing as we're getting a splash of new members, I feel it's finally time to do an event.

However, in the interest of doing one, I'm in need of two things.

1. Unreleased Simfiles.

Yes we are going to use our FFR engine for this event. I'd like to do about 3 divisions of about 5 files each. The hardest ones for me to make myself are the highest end ones.

Note: All files sent for this, will be used in the engine regardless. However, I will be judging all the files for the event. This means they will require good sync at a minimum.

If you're interested in assisting going through files, PM this account.

2. Prizes.

Ideas of prizes would be nice, but I would also be in need of credits to host this. If you are interested in this, please let me know and send ideas to this account via PM.

I would love to know how to step songs as well X3 I have so many in mind, then I would have to go about getting permission and all that!

Well, when this things does get going, I will donate credits for the prize money. At the very least, I will donate 10k, hopefully I'll be able to spare more

EDIT: I am currently able to fund credits in the amount of 25,000 I will hopefully be able to continue adding more credits for the event

Alright, now that I have more than 10 minutes to write up a post, let's go a little more in depth shall we?

I am requesting unreleased files, but to be more specific, this means there only needs to not be an FFR copy of it. This means if you wish to send a stepmania chart you've put out like 2 weeks ago or w/e, that's actually fine. However, I ask you remove holds and mines and adjust it accordingly. The judgement of your file will not change because it is on Stepmania. (FFR files that differ enough are fair as well. They can't be the same due to FFR's rules and my idea of the event.)

I am also going to add that I am trying to see what the interest of the event is first before determining divisions and such. So send whatever difficulties you'd like. I'm pretty open minded about it. Toss ideas around, I'd love to hear them.

With the credits, I'm asking for you to notify me if you wish to donate, as sometimes these things fail. I don't want to get credits from you and forget who sent what should it fail. This is for you, since you're the ones being generous.

Also as you are charting for this, don't be afraid to ask for help. I'll do my best to assist you, and there's a million users on this site who actually know enough to help you, and most of them are really nice about it. You can ask me to go through it as many times as I have time to.
