Everyone should try it, it's fun as hell. Just takes some concentration and finding the right offset. Pushing it higher is a nice challenge, I shouldn't be the only one playing with high speedmods :/

Best part about it was that after playing 12x for an hour or so 7x was so slow in comparison it felt completely natural even though my usual comfort speed is 5x.

You must have reflexes faster than everyone else here or something, I can't even read 3x properly. 2.25x is what I use on R^3

Maybe he just has a really small monitor lol. Probably not though. The smaller it is the higher speed you can read the notes at though.

Not really, a smaller screen/window doesn't make the notes stay on screen any longer, you still have to react at the exact same speed.

Okay, well on my monitor back in WA I can play at like 2.8x but on the huge one I have here I'm reduced to 2.41x. In any case, I just got this. A pretty decent score for me.

It's not as much about reflexes as you think considering that you can use offsets to adjust. It's more about reading quickly I guess, since you get a much smaller effective viewport of the chart than normal. It's not a huge deal to me since I often just focus on a small portion of the screen while playing anyway.

Hm, is it? I use c1100-c1200 on SM5 and it feels about right to me. I'm not really that used to the game though and use a noteskin so maybe it's not as equivalent as it feels.

Not sure how that would change things. I play 1080p fullscreen on 15" and 21" displays though.

Got a few scores last night, but forgot to post because I was doing tourney placements:

FINALLY! I kept flagging on the trill section, nerves were on overdrive when I realized I got past with an AAA.

YES! I'm pretty happy to have finally not derped on this file, but I can't be the only one who thinks this is a far cry from an 87. It's REALLY easy to derp and break combo, but aside from that I don't know.
