Re: Quadbait Pack submissions
already have like 70% of a Ke$ha file for this gEt HyPe (you're welcome, blind)
also I'm pretty much in agreement with Ji on this, the target audience should be players in the intermediate range who aren't quite good enough to play advanced packs like ODI/DCP/SMG but can comfortably play...say, most of the easier files in the FFR Community Packs.Comment

Re: Quadbait Pack submissions
yeah so making 2 charts shouldnt be TOO hard, one for upper-intermed players and one for lower players who cant quite handle VCs that well
if your file has 1 really good chart though, we'll let that in - probably only if the chart is the perfect difficulty for both intermediate & beginner players

Re: Quadbait Pack submissions
Maybe I'll try to submit the song I just started working on. It doesn't seem like it's going to turn out too terribly difficult. Though I'm super n00by when it comes to stepping things so it might suck, I dunno XDboopComment

Re: Quadbait Pack submissions (temporary name)
This rule right here is why I don't submit to more packs. I hate forcing an extra chart. I'll just adjust a quote that I think is appropriate for this: "Charting is like a fart. If you have to force it, it's probably shit."Last edited by Nullifidian; 06-5-2013, 02:37 AM.

Re: Quadbait Pack submissions
I GOT A SOLUTION
basically if u wanna cater to more players: 2 charts
if u wanna cater to intermed (or) newer players only: 1 chart
as long as we have an even balance of files there wont be any #-charts-required rules!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Quadbait Pack submissions
actually, making 2 charts, especially at this level of difficulty, shouldn't be a problem
make one chart how you normally would, and for the easier one just strip it down to its bare basics voila 2 charts
anyone that complains about making 2 charts for a song for this pack is probably just lazy and/or thinking too hardRhythm Simulation Guide

Re: Quadbait Pack submissions
Well the thing for me is, charting is something I occasionally do for fun and making a chart extra I view as a chore. Also, I don't spend too much time on charting since I have other obligations too so I just stick with how I want to step it and no extra charts.
